on receiving the 2025 LMIC Health Economics Outcomes Research Excellence Award from the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR).
This prestigious international award recognizes Professor Hammad’s outstanding contributions to advancing research in health economics and health policy, her leadership in capacity building, and her efforts in promoting the application of health economics in Jordan and across the region.
Professor Hammad is the first Jordanian researcher to receive this global award in the field of Health Economics, a remarkable achievement that reflects the University of Jordan’s commitment to academic excellence and its growing international impact.

We congratulate our student, Muna Badi AlHaj Eid, from the Women's Health Master's Program, on being selected for the WIn Fellowship Executive Program — an esteemed initiative by the Rafik Hariri Center at the Atlantic Council, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Jordan.
This program is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs in the MENA region through executive training, mentorship, and policy engagement.
Muna was selected based on her role as the founder of Mom Wellness Clinic, a community-based initiative that promotes maternal health and empowers women through reproductive health education and professional training in breastfeeding and wellness.
This recognition highlights our students’ strong commitment to leadership, innovation, and community impact.
Celebration of Top Students
August 12th, 2025
The Public Health Institute honored the top students in the Master’s Program in Women’s Health and the Master’s Program in Health Economics and Policy. Dr. Muneer Abu Hilala presented certificates of recognition to the outstanding students, in the presence of the Vice Dean, Prof. Eman Hammad, and Dr. Eman Massad from the Institute’s Department of Health Economics.
